[review] Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder

09:30:00

In the last 2 years, my skin decided that it wasn't giving me enough troubles, so started to become oily in my T-zone. Sure, before I spent years with the zones near my nose and my eyebrows being red, flacky and itchy, because of a mixture of dermatitis and wrong products for my skin, so we can safely say the situation got better: I'll always choose oily skin over flacky, itchy like hell skin.
Still, I don't like this situation.
That's why, in the last years I've started looking for the perfect mattifying powder. After two failures with natural powders (from Benecos and Purobio: my skin gets oily after 2 hours), I decided to try this mineral powder from Innisfree, one of the best selling products of the brand.

The No Sebum Mineral Powder is a mineral powder contained into a classic, light green jar with no sifter, that comes with a handy puff for applying it and contains 5 grams of product.
Thanks to the presence of mint and Jeju Island's natural mineral, it promises to control sebum, leave the skin soft and make your makeup last all day.
Innisfree says you can also use it as dry shampoo or eye primer, but I've never tried it.

INGREDIENTS
SILICA, CORN STARCH MODIFIED, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, CAPRYLIC/CAPRICTRIGLYCERIDE, MICA, METHICONE, MINERALSALTS, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, MENTHA ARVENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, DIMETHICONE, GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE, ETHYLENE/ACRYLIC ACID COPOLYMER, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, FRAGRANCE

The powder is fine and white, so you have to blend it well with the skin so it doesn't live a white cast. I apply it with the puff that cames with the jar.
The immediate effect is good: matt, smooth skin, and the appearance of pores seems reduced too. It leaves my skin opaque for a good 5-6 hours and, after my previous experiences, it's a result that, for now, satisfies me.
Of course it's not handy to carry with you for retouches, but there's also a compact version.

As for now, I'm quite satisfied with this poder; I'll still try more, looking for the perfect one, but I'll probably repurchase this one, maybe in the more confortable compact version.

I've bought it from Jolse for around 7 dollars (but it's often on sale). Have you tried it? Do you know some good mattifying powders?
L'avete provate? Conoscete delle buone ciprie opacizzanti?
